| Description: The world of Zangband is (loosely) based on the Amber novels of Roger Zelazny. It includes a wilderness, rebalanced combat, multiple towns, fixed and random quests, pets and aligned monsters, a magic system that greatly increases the options available to spellcasters, improved wand/rod stacking, various "Ironman" options, including Nightmare Mode, and extensive additions and rebalancing to nearly every other aspect of the game. |
